"Hello beautiful people!

My name is Ashlee Judd and I am the owner & Lead Planner of Detail & Design Event Company. I'm a Florida native and a die-hard Auburn University fan (WAR EAGLE)! I made my way to North Carolina through travel nursing back in 2019. At the beginning of my journey here, I met the love of my life and knew I couldn’t leave. We got married and I decided to grow roots in this beautiful state.

My professional career began as a Certified Registered Nurse but has evolved into being a Certified Wedding Planner. I loved being a nurse and caring for patients, however, over the years, I felt as if God was tugging on my heart to pursue a different path. While still nursing, I planned events and weddings on the side, and my zeal for that calling on my life grew exponentially. I realized that many nursing skills and qualities I acquired were advantageous to event planning; such as having a servant’s heart, being graceful under pressure, mature critical thinking skills and handling situations with a calm disposition.

Unquestionably, I gained my planning certification and established my very own wedding and event-planning company. Through Detail & Design Event Company, I get to live my passion and purpose for planning meaningful events. My motto is ‘Life is Short. Have the Party!’

"Hey Hey! My name is Samantha Pfaff, born, raised, and currently living in Davie County, North Carolina. I married my high school sweetheart, brought a beautiful baby girl into the world, and welcomed our fur baby into our family with complete open arms. I am a small town native but highly versed in the world of decorating and design. I truly believe my adoration for my craft began at a young age; rearranging my room on what seemed like a weekly basis! Constantly interested in creative and beautiful surroundings, my spirit and passion just blossomed from there.

Fast forward, graduating from East Carolina University with an Interior Merchandising degree, I quickly adapted to the design world creating schematics for a construction company to working as a Design Consultant at the largest furniture store in the world. As my design experience grew, I took on a similar position at Meg Brown Home Furnishings in my hometown! Working closely with clients on the entirety of color coordination, floor plans, and furniture selections to create the space they envisioned for their homes was incredibly fulfilling.

I love connecting with individuals to build long lasting relationships, leveraging creative ideas and bringing that story to life! I prioritize understanding our clients as people first so that I can authentically capture their vision, infusing facets of their personality and elements of their stories, to execute a design beyond their dreams."
